The artwork itself brings so much richness to our hospital and we are very grateful to all of our artists who make the effort to display such lovely artwork…. I have seen many people admiring your work (myself included) and it brings a moment of calm and tranquillity in an otherwise busy and stressful life. It's also great that so many people get to see the artwork who otherwise wouldn’t get to experience the enjoyment of artwork.
Much research has been done in this area which concludes that artwork in hospitals is an important factor in creating a nicer, more welcoming and more comfortable place to visit and/or work.
