The Full Story

We provide children’s and young people’s creative spaces, school outreach, adult wellbeing art sessions, and corporate team-care workshops, all designed to empower, reduce isolation, and build community through accessible, therapeutic creativity.

Joyti Kaur is a British-Punjabi Sikh artist and community practitioner whose work focuses on creative health, emotional expression, cultural healing, and social connection. Drawing on lived experience, her visual storytelling explores identity, memory, trauma, and healing, inviting audiences to process emotions, find catharsis and solidarity, and normalise open conversations around mental health, belonging, and wellbeing.

Her inclusive, community-based practice offers self-led holistic wellbeing workshops for children and young people, schools, adults, communities, and corporate teams. Using participatory approaches such as scratch-art therapy boards, sensory art, nature-based sessions, and collaborative workshops, she supports grounding, mindfulness, trauma recovery, empowerment, and social connection. Working with organisations including the NHS, RSPB, charities, gurdwaras, banks, and community groups, her work sits at the intersection of creativity, climate justice, and health equity, providing preventative, community-led approaches that strengthen wellbeing, reduce isolation, and build resilient, connected communities.

Art for Adults

Art for Children and Families

Joyti Kaur Arts delivers thoughtfully designed creative workshops for adults that combine artistic expression with mindfulness and emotional wellbeing. These sessions provide a calm, supportive space where participants can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore creativity without pressure or judgement. Workshops may include guided art-making, reflective exercises, and group discussion, helping adults reduce stress, build confidence, and strengthen social connection. Suitable for community groups, workplaces, corporate wellbeing programmes and charities, sessions can be tailored around themes such as resilience, identity, faith, cultural heritage, or mental wellness. Whether delivered as one-off experiences or ongoing programmes, Joyti Kaur Arts workshops aim to nurture self-expression, belonging, and holistic wellbeing through the power of creativity.

Children’s Workshops
Joyti Kaur Arts delivers creative, engaging workshops for children that nurture imagination, confidence and emotional wellbeing. Through hands-on art activities combined with gentle mindfulness techniques, children are encouraged to express their thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment. Sessions are designed to build self-esteem, develop communication skills, and promote positive mental health while making creativity fun and accessible. Workshops can be tailored to suit schools, community groups, holiday programmes, and themed events, supporting both personal development and creative exploration.

Family Workshops
Joyti Kaur Arts also offers intergenerational family workshops that bring parents, carers and children together through shared creative experiences. These sessions create meaningful opportunities for connection, conversation and collaboration, strengthening family bonds through art and reflection. Designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all ages and abilities, family workshops encourage open expression, cultural storytelling, and mindful creativity in a relaxed setting. Whether delivered in community spaces, festivals or wellbeing programmes, these sessions foster togetherness, understanding and joyful shared learning.
