13th August 2023, showcase of the art, highlighting the power, beauty and revolutionary spirit of guru ji.

Together we explored scratch art, a method Joyti Kaur specialises in. Scratch art is very similar to methods of Mohrakashi art.

A Sikh heritage art workshop was held at the Bhai Mani Singh Ji learning centre, where we learnt about the importance of preservation of art and its vital importance in documenting true events such as the Janam Sakhi of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Sangat discussed the meanings behind the art and were guided to create these intricate designs using the scratch art method
