How long does it take to make the art?Anywhere between 3 hours and several months. The process is, using fine intricate knife to shape and etch into the clay and wood. Special techniques are used to create these layers. Each one is handmade. Using fine brushes to add bold and metallic colours. The process of creating the art, grants this art to be an interactive experience from all vantage points such as in the art of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Joyti Kaur art is original, bespoke and one of a kind. Contemporary infused art celebrating heritage and moments of the universe such as in Z and Joth which celebrates the mool mantar and the creation of the universe. Why scratch art?Joyti Kaur can create art with various mediums including drawing, painting, Lino printing, water colour etc. However, scratch art medium proved to be an inspiration, a way to explore art through instinct, to move past mistakes, to be a part of a lifestyle. To create from scratch, is to create from the core! It is a spiritual process, which in workshops, many attendees have described as feeling therapeutic. Q + A and public speech, previous collaborations include, Slough Museum, as well as features on BBC and Asian Star Radio Demonstrations such as with RSPB, the UKs largest nature reserve charity Public art, for the community as the lamppost project and the curve, Slough surroundings Workshops, educating all age groups and backgrounds on art, technique and various important topics such as; anti-bullying based on religious discrimination such as with Gurdwara Sahib Northampton and Sikh Community Centre Our changing earth, discussing the importance of art with science, encouraging the importance of preserving our balance with nature with Wild Cookham Sikh heritage art workshop, encouraging preservation and challenging tearing down of historical sites that hold spiritual Mohrakashi art. How do I take care of my art?This art is built to last, to ensure we take pride in it, do keep it out of direct sunlight, keep a clean cloth to dry clean the frames every so often. For religious and spiritual art, your respect and cooperation in respect is crucial. Ensure the art is lifted to a high level!
